1. About GHInvest
GHInvest is operated by KSquare GHInvest LTD in Ghana. The app includes social prediction markets and restricted paper-trading previews for equities and commodities. Live equity and commodity brokerage is not currently available. GHInvest is not a bank, licensed broker-dealer or investment adviser. No statement in these Terms is a claim of SEC, Bank of Ghana, Gaming Commission or Data Protection Commission approval.
2. Acceptance and changes
By creating an account or using GHInvest, you accept these Terms. Material changes will be brought to your attention before they take effect where required. We request renewed acceptance or consent when applicable; a notice update does not retrospectively authorise new processing.
3. Eligibility and availability
You must be at least 18 and meet the identity, residence and product-specific eligibility requirements. Availability in the app does not override applicable law. Restricted products must not be used where prohibited or where the required authorisation is absent. GHInvest must establish the necessary permissions before offering regulated services; this responsibility is not transferred to users.
4. Account security and verification
Provide accurate information and use only your own account and payment methods. Keep passwords and verification codes private. Identity, age and anti-money-laundering checks may be required under applicable law, including Act 1044. Verification requirements depend on the product and provider. Report unauthorised activity promptly to support@ghinvest.app.
5. Prediction markets and risk
Prediction markets concern real-world outcomes and may involve real money. Prices, fees and payout models vary by market; review the displayed quote, outcome definitions, closing time and resolution rules before confirming. Some markets use variable automated prices; there is no universal fixed contract price. A creator may not trade their own market. You can lose your entire stake. Regulatory classification and any required Gaming Commission or SEC permissions must be established for the particular product before lawful live operation; these Terms do not establish that permission.
6. Market resolution and disputes
Review the market's stated resolution source and rules. We may investigate disputed, ambiguous or manipulated outcomes and apply the applicable cancellation or correction rules. Contact support@ghinvest.app with the market or transaction reference to dispute a result. Automated prices and displayed percentages are not guarantees or objective forecasts.
7. Equity, commodity and limit-order previews
Equity and commodity trading is currently restricted paper trading, not a purchase of actual securities. The LIMIT control lets you preview a whole-share quantity and GHS price. Live limit-order submission is disabled: no order is accepted, no money or shares are reserved and no broker receives the preview. Pending lists server-recorded activity awaiting completion; a preview does not appear there. A future live service requires an identified licensed broker, approved operating arrangements and separate execution terms before activation.
8. Future limit-order execution safeguards
If a live limit-order service is enabled under separate disclosed terms, a buy limit is the maximum price per share and a sell limit the minimum, excluding separately disclosed fees. A displayed price reaching a threshold does not guarantee submission or a fill. Liquidity, trading sessions, price changes, outages and broker acceptance can cause delay, partial execution, rejection or expiry. GHInvest must disclose validity, cancellation, funding and reservation rules before acceptance. An order-placement notice is not an execution confirmation; only confirmed fills may be described as executed. Email may be delayed or duplicated and is not the authoritative order record.
9. Deposits, withdrawals and custody
Payments are processed in GHS through third-party payment providers. Applicable fees, limits and processing times are shown in the app; product limits are not represented as universal statutory thresholds. Transactions may be reviewed or delayed for security and legal reasons. GHInvest is not a bank and its wallet balance is not a deposit protected by the Ghana Deposit Protection Scheme. A payment provider's licence does not by itself establish GHInvest's authorisation to operate a wallet, hold client money or provide investment services.
10. Prohibited conduct
Do not commit fraud, launder money, finance crime, trade on material non-public information, manipulate prices, conduct wash trading, evade age or geographic controls, impersonate people, access another account, or publish unlawful, infringing or sexually explicit content. We may remove content, suspend accounts and make legally required reports.
11. Responsible participation and taxes
Use only money you can afford to lose. Use Take a break in Settings or contact support if participation is becoming harmful. You are responsible for applicable taxes; GHInvest will perform withholding or reporting where legally required. No tax rate or exemption is guaranteed by these Terms.
12. Privacy and service communications
The Privacy Policy explains collection, processing, sharing, retention and your rights under Act 843. Order-placement and confirmed-execution emails are transactional service communications, separate from optional marketing. Paper previews do not generate live execution confirmations. Check the in-app record if a notice is missing or duplicated.
13. Intellectual property and liability
GHInvest branding, software and content belong to their owners or licensors. Do not reproduce protected material without permission. Trading decisions and market outcomes involve risk. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude indirect or consequential losses; nothing excludes non-excludable duties, data-protection rights or liability under applicable law.
14. Suspension and closure
We may restrict access for breach, security or legal requirements. You may request account closure in Settings. The cancellation period is 24 hours; deletion may pause while a deposit or payout settles. Required financial records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy. Closure is not a means to avoid outstanding obligations.
15. Complaints and governing law
Contact support@ghinvest.app for product complaints and legal@ghinvest.app for legal or privacy concerns. Include a reference, not a password or verification code. These Terms are governed by Ghanaian law. Disputes are subject to the courts of Ghana; nothing restricts your right to complain to the relevant regulator or exercise statutory rights.
