Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GHInvest mobile application and related services (the "Service"), operated by KSquare Africa ("we", "us") in Accra, Ghana. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract, and resident in a jurisdiction where the Service is offered. You agree to provide accurate information and to complete any identity verification (KYC) we require.

2. The Service

GHInvest is a social prediction‑market and simulated‑trading platform. It lets you create and trade on markets about real‑world outcomes, practise trading equities and commodities, and interact with other users. GHInvest is not a bank, broker‑dealer or licensed investment adviser, and nothing in the Service is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password and verification codes confidential. Never share a verification code with anyone. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Funds, deposits and withdrawals

Deposits, withdrawals and transfers are processed through third‑party payment partners. Fees, limits and processing times may apply and are shown in the app. You may only use payment methods that belong to you. We may delay, review or decline transactions to comply with law or to prevent fraud.

5. Markets and resolution

Markets are resolved based on the outcome and source defined when the market was created. Payouts, where applicable, are net of any platform fee shown in the app. We may void or correct a market in cases of error, manipulation or ambiguity.

Risk warning. Prediction markets and trading involve financial risk. Prices and outcomes are uncertain and you can lose the funds you stake. Past performance does not indicate future results. Only participate with money you can afford to lose.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to manipulate markets, to create offensive or infringing content, to impersonate others, to circumvent our security or moderation, or to launder money. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

The GHInvest name, logo, app and content are owned by KSquare Africa and protected by law. You may not copy, modify or distribute them without our permission.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from your trading decisions, market outcomes, or third‑party services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or where required by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
